Your Role
As a Junior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team by managing data entry, performing financial analysis, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Your tasks entry will involve reconciling financial data, processing documents, and assisting with accounting-related functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical skills in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment at the intersection of finance and real estate.
Responsibilities
- Data Entry & Financial Documentation: Input and manage financial data in our platforms to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and perform data analysis to support decision-making, including identifying trends and discrepancies.
- Reconciliation of Financial Records: Reconcile financial discrepancies across real estate properties, ensuring accuracy between platforms, bank accounts, and internal systems.
- Accounting Support: Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including processing financial transactions, balancing accounts, and verifying document accuracy.
- Document Processing: Review, organize, and manage financial documents to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., customer success, operations, tech) to resolve financial issues and ensure smooth workflows.
Skills & Requirements
- Educational Background: BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (or currently enrolled in a relevant program).
- Proven Interest in Finance & Real Estate: Strong interest in finance, real estate, and/or technology with a desire to learn and grow in these areas.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., spreadsheets, databases). Experience with accounting or data analysis platforms is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in data entry, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot financial discrepancies and optimize processes.
- Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and communicate complex financial information in a clear, concise manner.
- Proactive and Self-Motivated: Ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Experience or interest in customer-facing roles, with a focus on providing value and solving customer needs.
