A well-established Warehouse distributor located in Ketchikan Alaska is looking for a self-starter to join our operations team. This is a full time position open immediately. Our company provides a great work environment and an excellent benefit package. Our operations team is very close, and extremely efficient. Direct reporting to: Assistant Division Manager
This position is classified as: Non-Exempt; Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Typically 40-hours/week, Thursday – Monday, 06:00 am – 03:00 pm (except Sat/Sun hours 05:00 am – 02:00 pm). Will include weekends and shifts may vary depending on company and/or customer needs.
Description of Warehouse Merch
Ketchikan, AK:
Complete service and maintenance of assigned accounts. Includes ordering, merchandising, returns, reset assistance, delivering, and processing daily paperwork.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Assist with checking in product at customer locations
- Merchandise store shelves, coolers, and displays; rotate and pull unsalable product
- Keep backroom area, coolers, and shelves in neat and orderly condition
- Assist warehouse with product check-in, location stocking, etc
- Accurately pull orders for customer delivery
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
This position requires lifting cases weighing from 20-60 pounds repeatedly throughout the work day; as well as loading, pushing, and pulling heavy product. Bending, reaching, and squatting throughout the shift while loading and moving products.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Alaska driver’s license.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Working knowledge of delivery/distribution/warehouse flow
- Demonstrated excellent organizational skills
