How You Will Be Evaluated
Your evaluation for this job will be based on how well you meet the specified Teller qualifications.
Once the job announcement has closed, your application package (including resume, supporting documents, and responses to the questionnaire) will be reviewed to determine whether you meet the qualification requirements. If you are minimally qualified, your resume and supporting documentation will be assessed against your responses to the assessment questionnaire to evaluate your level of experience. If it is determined that your qualifications and/or experience have been overstated, you may lose consideration for the position. It is important to follow all instructions carefully, as errors or omissions may impact your eligibility.
You should include any relevant performance appraisals and incentive awards in your resume, as this information may be considered during the selection process. If selected, you may be required to provide supporting documentation.
Selection is subject to restrictions based on the Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
If you are retired from federal service and interested in reemployment as an annuitant, refer to the Reemployed Annuitant information sheet for guidance.
You may claim Military Spouse preference.
You may claim Priority Placement Program (PPP) preference.
The Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP) provides selection priority for federal employees in the competitive service who have received written notice of displacement. To receive selection priority under ICTAP, applicants must:
- Meet ICTAP eligibility criteria.
- Be rated as well-qualified for the position.
- Submit the required documentation to support ICTAP eligibility.
Applicants must meet all qualification requirements and receive a score of 90 or above to be considered well-qualified. Additional information about ICTAP is available on the OPM’s Career Transition Resources website.
This announcement is used to generate referral lists for multiple selecting officials at different locations. Each selecting official can choose to request either a competitive and non-competitive candidate list or only a competitive list. If both lists are requested and you qualify for the non-competitive list, you will be evaluated based on basic and/or minimum qualifications, as applicable. While non-competitive candidates are required to answer the assessment questions, they will not be evaluated against competitive rating and ranking criteria. The selecting official may choose from any of the candidate lists issued.
