Responsibilities:

As an Automotive Service Technician, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and special service equipment to test components and systems.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair various vehicle automotive systems, including:
  • Engine
  • Transmission
  • Electrical
  • Steering
  • Suspension
  • Brakes
  • Air Conditioning
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle. Provide estimates for additional work if necessary.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• Experience with drivability, smog, heavy duty, and electric vehicles is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE Certification is required.
• B-level qualifications, including experience in diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair.
• Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment efficiently.
• Above average computer competencies for using dealership systems.
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to continuously improve and learn.
• Strong ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• A team player who can collaborate effectively with others.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
