Receptionist

Birmingham’s historic landmark, The Club, is looking for a professional, courteous, friendly, and energetic Receptionist to join our team! The Club has been a Birmingham institution for over 73 years, with its breathtaking view of the city, unique architecture, and one-of-a kind restaurants and service.
Our goal is excellence through uncompromising service to our members in a caring and respectful manner. Our team provides high levels of service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere to our members with two full-service restaurants, bar and lounge, along with a high volume of event activity.
Responsibilities Include:
· Greet and welcome members and guest in a warm and professional manner
· Answer multiple lines
· Answer inquiries
· Take member reservations
· Communicate with members and guests in the manner our members expect
· Direct calls and members to various departments
· Light clerical support for various departments-Events, Membership, etc.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· College Student encouraged to apply
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
· Some clerical experience is preferred
· Flexibility – ability to effectively adapt to change and work throughout the Club
· Able to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays
MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREENING
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
