Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Night Crew Stocker to join our team at Foodland IGA. As a Night Crew Stocker, you will be responsible for ensuring that our shelves are fully stocked, organized, and ready for our customers when they shop the next day. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently during night hours.
Key Responsibilities for Night Crew Stock :
- Stock shelves, freezers, and displays with products according to store layout and planograms.
- Unload trucks and properly store inventory in the appropriate storage areas.
- Rotate products to ensure that older items are used first (FIFO – First In, First Out).
- Ensure products are properly labeled and facing the correct direction.
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and sales floor area.
- Assist in identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies or damaged products.
- Work with other team members to prioritize tasks and meet nightly stocking goals.
- Assist with setting up special displays or promotional items as needed.
- Follow all safety and food handling regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers when necessary.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous stocking or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently without supervision.
- Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively.
- Flexible availability and willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic understanding of store products and layout is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold storage areas).
