Jr Front End Developer: Sea-Land Companies, E-Rigging.com, New Orleans, LA 70123

We are seeking a Jr Front End Developer to join our team. You will develop, test, debug and implement new features and pages on E-Rigging.com and our portfolio of eCommerce websites. Experience with Shopify theme development, specifically Shopify Liquid, CSS, & JavaScript is required. Experience with Page Speed Optimization, SEO, and GitHub is preferred.

Responsibilities for Jr. Front End Developer

Texas:

• As the Developer, you will write, test, and debug code that solves technical issues on the websites following the best web development practices. This role requires technical expertise in Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, and CSS
• Code and implement new features on the website with smooth transition without disrupting the current website.
• Analyze and improve performance of the website.
• Develop creative solutions to help achieve a variety of e-commerce-oriented goals.
• Ensure websites are functional and properly styled on all viewports and modern browsers.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

• 1 Year Experience with HTML5 CSS3, CSS (SASS), JavaScript.
• Understanding of Shopify Liquid
• Previous experience in web development or other related fields
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Preferred Skills:

• SEO Best Practices
• GitHub
• Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator; Canva
• Familiarity with Jira, with an understanding of Agile methods.
• Strong attention to detail and comfortable juggling multiple tasks across different areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $59,000.00 per year
