Responsibilities
As a Hotel Houseman, your primary duties will include:
- Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to meet hotel standards.
- Ensure all spaces are spotless and welcoming for guests.
- Event Support:
- Assist with setting up and breaking down events, ensuring areas are clean, organized, and ready for use.
- Inspections and Reporting:
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas to identify cleaning needs.
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to management.
- Use of Equipment:
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment and use cleaning supplies effectively for thorough and efficient cleaning.
- Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with housekeeping staff to ensure timely task completion and high-quality service delivery.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify management when restocking is needed.
- Customer Service:
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or hospitality roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and custodial practices is essential.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and quality.
