Valdez RV Park is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Workampers to join our team for the summer season. This is a unique opportunity to work, live, and explore one of Alaska’s most picturesque destinations!
About the Position:
We are seeking a team of two individuals to assist with park operations from May 15 to September 15, 2025. This part-time role requires about 20-25 hours per week, with a flexible schedule of 4 hours per day for 4 days, leaving you 3 days off to enjoy all that Valdez has to offer.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $20.00/hour for hours beyond the agreed schedule.
- Site Amenities: Full hook-up (FHU) RV site included, along with access Camp to:
- Laundry facilities
- Showers
- Propane
- Flexible scheduling to allow extra days off for exploring the area.
- A supportive and welcoming environment where your efforts are Camp valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk and Guest Services:
- Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a seamless and Camp welcoming experience.
- Answer questions about park amenities, local attractions, and activities in Valdez.
- Provide basic office support, including responding to phone calls, emails, and inquiries.
- Housekeeping Duties:
- Help maintain cleanliness and functionality of park facilities, including bathrooms and communal spaces.
- Restock supplies as needed and ensure facilities meet cleanliness standards.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members to support daily park operations.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying daily tasks and schedules.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts including day, evening, and weekend hours as needed.
- Primary schedule: 4 days on (4 hours/day), with 3 days off.
- Opportunities to work additional hours for $20.00/hour.
What We’re Looking For:
- A team of two individuals (partners, spouses, or friends are welcome to apply).
- Friendly, customer-service-oriented individuals who enjoy interacting with guests and providing a welcoming experience.
- Dependable team members with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Prior experience in RV park management, guest services, or housekeeping is a plus but not required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job.
