OASYS, INC., a leading-edge government contractor based in business Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team in support of our valued ARMY client.

Role Overview

The Business Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical solutions. This position focuses on analyzing functional user requirements, addressing challenges, and proposing recommendations that align with organizational goals and client demands. The Analyst will assess business and technical processes, formulate innovative solutions, and develop systems that align with both user needs and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Evaluating systems’ scope and objectives to align with the business plan and client specifications.
• Analyzing user requirements and converting them into functional system specifications.
• Identifying procedural inefficiencies and proposing improvements.
• Developing and modifying business information processing systems.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure clear documentation of requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Experience: At least 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a closely related field, coupled with 12 years of paid work experience in any capacity.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address complex challenges.
• Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication (written and oral).
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality written reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing competing priorities.
• Team Collaboration: Experience working effectively in team settings using various tools and methodologies.
• Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is highly preferred.

Educational Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline (e.g., STEM, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering) is required.

Eligibility Criteria

• Citizenship: Only U.S. citizens are eligible for this position.
• Security Clearance:
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is mandatory.
  • Candidates with an Active Secret Clearance are highly preferred.
