This position works directly with the members of the branch leadership team to develop and execute new business acquisition strategies along with client retention and expansion initiatives leveraging Sharp’s broad portfolio of solutions and services
Responsible for meeting established financial objectives by:

Inspecting sales managers on their performance against quota, key performance indicators, and rep participation
Providing written feedback regarding performance versus objectives, and clear direction on recovery actions
Resolving business challenges through problem solving process, developing solutions, and making recommendations
Staying on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for growth
Hiring pipeline / professional networking / business associations
Sourcing hires and develops high potential sales professionals and managers
Reporting on sales activity and results through prospect pipeline analysis and sales participation/contribution management
Ensuring training requirements are met for all sales positions
Engaging formalized Performance Improvement to address non-performance as necessary

Overview Branch

To support our growing business, Sharp Electronics is looking for a Branch Manager to increase sales in our Business Systems division. We are currently hiring for opportunities in our Downers Grove area sales office.

The Branch Manager has P&L responsibility for the branch, ensuring that the organization meets its established performance objectives. This position works directly with the members of the branch leadership team to develop and execute new business acquisition strategies along with client retention and expansion initiatives leveraging Sharp’s broad portfolio of solutions and services.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of successful sales management experience, preferably within technology industry.
  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • A basic understanding of P&L mechanics.
  • Experience in dealer/distributor sales environments a plus.
  • Technology competent, understanding of MS Office applications.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
