Overview
This Open Continuous Announcement is intended to collect applications for potential physician vacancies across multiple specialties at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System. Applications will remain on file and eligible candidates will be referred to hiring managers on a monthly basis as needs arise. Please note: This posting does not guarantee current vacancies.

Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP)
Select specialties may be eligible for student loan repayment through EDRP. Eligibility is determined after selection and approval by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services Office.

- Salary: Competitive pay with annual performance bonuses and periodic increases

Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required (non-citizens may be considered only when qualified citizens are unavailable)
- Education: MD or DO from a VA-approved institution
- License: Full and unrestricted license to practice in any U.S. state or territory
- Residency: Completion of an accredited residency in a core specialty
- Board Certification: Required in some roles (e.g., for supervision or faculty appointments)
- Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English
Physical Requirements
This position requires physical and mental stamina to manage the demands of patient care. Duties may involve standing, walking, lifting, and exposure to patients with infectious diseases or behavioral health conditions.
