Summary
About the Position:
This Clinical Pharmacist role is located at Reynolds Army Health Clinic in Fort Sill, Oklahoma — a vital part of the Army’s medical mission, serving Soldiers, their families, and other eligible patients. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of medications.
This is a Direct Hire Solicitation to help fill multiple vacancies efficiently. Salary negotiation may be available for candidates new to federal service. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed as openings occur.

💼 Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will:
- Oversee and perform the full range of clinical pharmacy services within the military treatment facility (MTF).
- Review and monitor the safe dispensing of all pharmaceuticals within the MTF and affiliated sites.
- Work alongside physicians to develop and manage individualized pharmacotherapy plans for complex cases.
- Provide education and training to physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare staff on appropriate medication use and pharmacy best practices.
- Prepare and dispense medications for both inpatient and outpatient care.
⚙️ Conditions of Employment
- Appointment is subject to a suitability determination and a completed background investigation.
- This is a Testing Designated Position: pre-employment and random drug testing are required.
- Must consent to seasonal influenza vaccination or provide an approved exemption.
- Pre-placement medical examination required; moderate to heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs) may be necessary.
- Immunization screening is required; proof of Hepatitis B and other vaccinations may be needed.
- Must hold and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross.
- Must meet credentialing requirements and obtain/maintain clinical privileges.
- May be required to work irregular shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
🎓 Basic Qualifications
Education:
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Exemption:
- If you are a current federal employee in the 0660 occupational series since September 27, 2017 or earlier, you may be exempt from this education requirement (documentation required).
License:
- Must have a valid, unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a U.S. state or territory.

Medical Requirement:
- Must be able to distinguish basic colors.
Specialized Experience:
- One year of professional pharmacy experience in a medical facility, which includes dispensing medications and preparing pharmaceuticals.
