Purpose of the Role:
As a Lead Salesforce Service Cloud Developer, you will be part of our dedicated product-focused Service Cloud squad. In this role, you’ll help design and deliver innovative solutions to enhance the customer experience.
You will support a busy multi-channel contact center and provide essential tools and services to our transaction websites.
With our ongoing program of change, this is an exciting opportunity to join us as we transition legacy systems into the Salesforce ecosystem. The role combines your technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen to drive impactful change.
Cloud Developer Key Responsibilities:
- Feature Implementation: Lead the implementation of new features using the right tools and technologies for the job.
- Solution Design & Delivery: Collaborate with Business Analysts to design and implement scalable, efficient solutions.
- Innovation & Research: Stay ahead of the curve by researching new technologies, suggesting solutions for technical debt, and continuously improving system functionality.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as the technical expert and team lead for Service Cloud development, mentoring junior developers, and providing guidance on coding best practices and architecture. Ensure the team follows coding standards and Salesforce development guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the success of the Service Cloud development and its integration with other systems.
Key Skills and Expertise:
- Salesforce Platform Development: Expertise in Salesforce development, with a strong command of Apex programming language.
- Lightning Web Components (LWC): Proficient in building dynamic, modern user interfaces using LWC.
- Salesforce APIs: Experience with REST, SOAP, and other Salesforce APIs for system integrations.
- Salesforce Query Languages: Mastery of SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) and SOSL (Salesforce Object Search Language) for efficient database interactions.
- Declarative Tools: Skilled in Salesforce’s click-based tools such as Flow, Process Builder, and Validation Rules to streamline business processes.
- Apex Programming: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce’s Apex programming language for back-end development and customization.
