In this role, you will be a key member of our Legal Services team, providing crucial administrative support while ensuring our operations are fully compliant with licensing regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Licensing Manager in day-to-day operations.
  • Compliance Assistance: Assist in implementing legislation and regulatory requirements to ensure legal compliance across all company operations.
  • Licensing Processes: Implement and manage processes to ensure that stores, colleagues, and the organization remain appropriately licensed.
  • Reporting: Generate and report on compliance issues to the business to ensure continuous adherence to licensing standards.
  • Licensing Applications: Manage various licensing applications, including:
    • Personal Licences: Process personal licensing applications and related paperwork.
    • Premises Licences: Handle Premises Licence applications and related documentation.
    • Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) & Designated Premises Manager (DPM) Variations: Process variations and updates to DPS and DPM information.
  • Training Coordination: Coordinate licensing training for colleagues to ensure that they meet compliance requirements.
  • Documentation Management: Photocopy, scan, and distribute Premises Licences as required. Maintain and update licensing files, electronic spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Compile “Period End” compliance reports for Senior Management to provide insight into the department’s performance and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Invoice Management: Process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
