Key Duties

• Psychological Assessment: Conduct evaluations for a broad range of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
• Treatment Planning: Develop, monitor, and document individualized clinical treatment plans and progress notes in a timely manner.
• Testing Oversight: Administer and interpret psychological tests; ensure secure storage of instruments and raw data.
• Therapeutic Services: Lead individual and group therapy sessions, as well as psychoeducational and psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Supervision & Training: Provide expert guidance and training on diagnosis and treatment to credentialed staff and interns.

Conditions of Employment

• Background & Security: Suitability determination and Personnel Security Investigation required.

• Health Requirements:
  • Seasonal flu vaccination (or exemption)
  • Immunization screening, including Hepatitis B
  • Maintain current BLS certification (American Red Cross)
• Credentialing: Meet and maintain all professional licensure requirements.

Qualifications

Basic Requirement

• Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology.

Specialized Experience

• One year of post-doctoral experience (GS-12 level) in:
  • Performing psychological evaluations
  • Developing and implementing behavioral health treatment plans
  • Providing individual and group counseling

Licensure

• Active, unrestricted clinical psychology license from any U.S. state, territory, or D.C.

Note: No substitution of education for experience; foreign degrees require U.S. equivalency evaluation.
