This role, supporting the Beer Division’s Supply Chain, will partner with numerous cross-functional teams to provide financial insight into business performance and to support the decision-making process for strategic initiatives. Specific areas of contribution include product costing, monthly management reporting and forecasting, annual budgeting, co-pack operations management, and ad hoc project support.
Lead cost accounting process for total division COGS (annual standard creation) and support the Master Data Management team in set-up and testing of new items and new locations
Support third party co-pack operation ensuring inventory is correctly accounted for and service purchase orders are submitted in a timely fashion
Support month-end close activities, including consolidation and processing of monthly and quarterly journal entries, correction of account coding errors, and resolution of system issues
Lead migration of newly implemented SAP system from minimum viable product to best-in-class solution for product costing and inventory management
Lead creation, production and distribution of stakeholder management reporting; reviewing results with business partners to provide variance analysis vs. annual plan and to proactively define potential risks
Lead development of the monthly forecast, annual budget and long-range plan for transportation and warehousing expenses ($600 M), partnering with cross functional business partners to ensure financial estimates and targets appropriately reflect strategic initiatives and market conditions
Support various ad hoc requests from the finance leadership team
Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance/Accounting), Economics or STEM.
Eight to twelve years of relevant professional experience in Finance, Accounting or Consulting
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Power Query/Pivot, Xlookup, Thinkcell)
SAP S4 HANA & BPC experience
Superb communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
Strong financial acumen and demonstrated analytical/problem solving ability
Highly motivated, change-oriented, and demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
Continuous improvement mindset. Ability to recognize opportunities to simplify processes and create efficiencies
Comfortable operating autonomously with minimal supervision
Professional experience in Finance or Accounting at CPG firm preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Physical Requirements: Requires the ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. It also requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other equipment, reading, talking and hearing for extended periods of time.
Travel Required: Must be flexible in work style and schedule: travel up to 20%.
