Job description: Please make sure to attach both a resume and cover letter to complete your application.

Summary:

ASPCA strives to maintain a COVID-free workplace. To that end, being fully vaccinated is a condition of employment for all ASPCA employees, including new hires. ASPCA makes reasonable accommodations for qualified applicants with disabilities or sincerely held religious beliefs that prohibit a person from being vaccinated.

The ASPCA’s research points to opportunities to greatly improve the welfare of equines through increasing ease and access to rehoming options and safety net support. Following the successful launch of ASPCA’s first pilot in the Dallas-area, we were able to begin substantiating this hypothesis by providing services to 59 horses.

With the first pilot complete, a second support center pilot was opened in July of 2019 to further test and enhance this program with a goal of using our learnings to establish a permanent transition center in the country. Nearly 275 horses have been impacted since opening the second pilot, necessitating the need for additional support to care for horses moving in- and out- of our partner facility
