Key job responsibilities
We are seeking a DEI Creative and Design lead to be a part of a the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) team, which covers Amazon Studios’ original content and licensed studio programming, Prime Video Service and IMDb.

This role will be focused on graphic design, video editing, and web design in support of the DEI programs. This includes programs such as the Voices event series, Howard Entertainment, and the evolution of the Inclusion Policy & Playbook.

Candidates should be brilliant, great with data (but better with people), independently-motivated (but great at collaboration), equipped with strong opinions (but willing to change their minds), ambitious and be driven to change the media-tech landscape.

About the team
The core mission of the DEI Team is to ensure diverse representation of talent (in front of and behind the camera, above and below the line); working to dismantle longstanding barriers to success in the industry and inspecting our processes so we do not create or perpetuate inequities; and telling inclusive narratives and marketing those stories to a globally diverse audience.


· 3+ years of design experience
· An available online portfolio

  • Degree or certificate in graphic design, video editing, or web design
  • Design portfolio with multiple proof points of work across a range of business needs
  • High level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Social Media, and Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with video editing software
  • Precise attention to detail and ability to ask the right questions to move quickly across multiple projects
  • Experience collaborating across business, content, and technology teams to understand how they operate and how that can inform program development.
  • History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done


  • Experience managing customer facing products and programs
  • Experience working or contributing to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion work
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks and resolve conflict.
  • Maximize resources with the best interest of the organization in mind.
  • Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
  • Experience in development, coding, HTML/CSS, and popular CMS platforms
