Job Description

This position includes application / calibration responsibilities of advanced radar based driver assistance functions. The ideal candidate would be highly self-motivated and have the willingness to dive right in. You will work directly with an entire customer development team, both local and overseas.

Below is a highlight of the things you would being working on:

  • Responsible for direct technical contact to customer
  • Coordination of customer project topics, tasks, meetings that will be supported locally.
  • Part of the BOSCH – Customer worldwide development-team for radar sensor projects.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting in project and direct contact for customers.
  • Will be supported by BOSCH Engineering-team located in Abstatt, Germany and further worldwide locations.
  • Evaluate requirements from customers related to the radar sensor projects
  • Timely delivery of issues/topics/questions form customer to development team
  • Support reflashing and configuration of radar sensor samples using latest software releases
  • Support local test drives and long distance endurance trips with customer
  • First point of contact for OEM for application topics, prepare technical presentations for customers


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
  • 4+ years experience with vehicle and system test and release procedures in an automotive function.
  • 2+ years experience in systems / requirements engineering.
  • 1+ years of professional experience with C++ or C OR Computer/Software Engineering degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, etc.
  • Knowledge of driver assistance sensor technologies and functions, high interest to work on exciting new driver assistance technologies
  • Strong sense of responsibility and commitment, innovative thinking.
  • Hands on experience with Agile development methods (SCRUM, Kanban, Lean, etc.)
  • Capable to work independently in an organized and structured fashion with strong analytical skills that supports a systematic approach to problem resolution and strong communication skills to discuss issues/challenges with global development teams and external customers.
  • Good written / verbal communication and presentation skills to discuss issues / solutions with team and external customer
  • Flexible, willing to travel (8-12 weeks / year) and participate in test drives (international travel possible)
  • Good English skills verbal / written (additional languages encouraged)
  • Comfortable with test activities in vehicles
  • Comfortable working with ADTF measurement system
  • Commercial Drivers License (CDL A)
