Job description: Overview
The Chief of Contract Administration is responsible for the coordination and oversight of all Agency procurements and contracts for construction, services, grant agreements, and work authorizations. The Chief will ensure that state and federal regulatory compliance is upheld for multiple funding sources. The Chief will work closely with the leadership team to develop and sustain a high level of employee engagement, satisfaction, and productivity. A successful candidate will develop and lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiencies within the section.

Associate degree AND nine (9) years or more of management experience in one or more the following areas (a) development of program rules and policies; (b) development of long- and short-range goals and plans: (c) program evaluation; or (d) budget preparation OR highway maintenance, engineering, construction, planning or a combination thereof.
High school diploma or equivalent AND eleven (11) years or more of management experience in one or more the following areas (a) development of program rules and policies; (b) development of long- and short-range goals and plans: (c) program evaluation; and (d) budget preparation OR highway maintenance, engineering, construction, planning.
Expertise in state/federal procurement, contracting, administration, or business related field.
