Job title: Administrative Program Coordinator

Job description: Performs administrative duties for the Department and Department’s programs. Coordinates course offerings and curriculum related materials. Handles day-to-day operations, including reception, supplies inventory and ordering, and events planning. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of department and organization policies and procedures. Maintains and supervises the faculty and graduate student application process. Maintains the Department website and related activities. Acts as liaison with other university administrative units.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong verbal and written communication skills required

Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Adobe)

Proficient data entry and keyboarding skills

Ability to work effectively with others of diverse personalities, education, and cultural backgrounds

Ability to establish priorities, exercise discretion, maintain confidentiality and integrity in the performance of all duties

Ability to prioritize and work with multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to successfully meet established project deadlines

Ability to work as part of a professional team and to collaborate effectively with individuals within the University as well as with outside contacts
Required Education and/or Experience

High school diploma/equivalent and two years relevant work experience, to include experience in computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets, web page management)


Bachelor’s degree preferred with more than two years relevant work experience, to include experience in computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets, web page management)
Preferred Qualifications

University or related office experience preferred

Familiarity with CONCUR, Radius, Banner, Cognos, Kronos, Paymentnet, and TAMS a plus
