As an Account Manager, Content in our Tax & Accounting Professionals, Large Firms segment you will manage customer relationships within the assigned territory, retain and grow revenue, and market share through up-sell, cross-sell and retention activities of content at designated accounts to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve company strategic objectives.

More About the Role

In this Account Manager, Content opportunity, you will:

Support account relationships and drive overall software customer satisfaction/continuous improvements in Customer Experience scores for assigned accounts.

Be responsible for retention and net sales and revenue for assigned accounts.

Support execution of strategy at the account level; work with and bring in experts/specialists onto the team where required, have oversight of all account activities.

Act as point of contact for the client, provide escalation path to and from Service, attend to customer issues promptly.

Be responsible for accurate forecasting, keeping management in touch with accounts in a timely fashion; consistent updates of all CRM systems/reporting on market intelligence on competitor activity, and giving feedback to other internal stakeholders.

Assist in cultivating customer relationships, know the customer’s business and workflows, ensure effective service delivery to accounts.

About You

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

Relevant sales experience, preferably 5 + years’ in a B2B, consultative role such as software or professional services, track record of success/exceeding quota.

Strong relationship building/selling skills (identify, develop and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling).

An ability to communicate and deliver presentations effectively and at all levels within an organization.

Knowledge depth/understanding of customers and their business model and workflows within the Tax Professional segment.

Strong negotiation/interpersonal skills.

Adept at problem solving – ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs.

Able to use technology with a high level of proficiency.

Team player, Highly collaborative.

High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree with focus in Sales, Marketing, Business, Finance or Accounting preferred.

Note: This a Remote position and can be based anywhere in the U.S. with approx. 25 to 40% travel required (*due to Covid-19 considerations travel will not be required until restrictions are lifted).
