The community college system’s more than 3,500 faculty and staff serve more than 60,000 students annually at seven colleges and five satellite sites.PRIMARY OBJECTIVEReporting to the Director-Online Academic Projects, the Intern-Online Learning & Student Readiness assists with duties and activities related to students’ learning and persistence in online-live and asynchronous courses, as determined and directed by the supervisor and in support of the strategic plans and mission of the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC). Performs other duties as assigned.ESSENTIAL DUTIES· Assists with supporting learning efforts of CCC students enrolled in asynchronous online courses and online-live Zoom courses.· Provides support on various projects and assignments for Instructional Quality and Innovation when needed.· Develops and maintains project work plans, action plans, and updates with clear deliverables and timelines.· Attends meetings as requested to obtain information pertinent to assignments.· Researches various topics related to student learning and analyzes findings in relation to educational technology and the learning management system; research may include diverse methodologies.· Communicates with various internal and external constituents in order to gather data and information for use by administrators.· Adheres to CCC Customer Service Excellence standards.· Delivers a capstone presentation to an audience that includes CCC stakeholders showcasing the semester’s work.· Performs other duties as assigned.REPORTING RELATIONSHIPSReports To Director – Online Academic ProjectsDirect Supervision NoneQUALIFICATIONS· Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program and maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA at their institution.
