Hospital – Beckley, WVSpecialty Medical Staffing are actively seeking an experienced Interim Director of Pharmacy for a leadership role at a highly reputable hospital in Beckley, West Virginia. This is a consulting-level position, ideal for a pharmacy leader who excels at managing staff and operations.Position Overview:
As Interim Director of Pharmacy, you will oversee pharmacy operations, lead clinical and compliance initiatives, and serve as a key liaison between hospital leadership and external administration.Specialty Medical Staffing is one of the premier healthcare staffing companies nationwide. Our award-winning team will ensure you are in good hands moving forward.Position Highlights:Start Date: June 9th (no later than June 16th)Duration: 2–3 monthsSchedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | No weekendsKey Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations, compliance, and clinical pharmacy programsInterface with site administrationEnsure adherence to company policies and reporting requirementsLead sterile compounding initiativesParticipate in weekly progress calls and strategic planningMinimum Requirements:Active West Virginia Pharmacist license (required)3–5 years of pharmacy management experienceAcute care/inpatient hospital experience strongly preferredBLS certificationCompensation:$70+/hr (DOE)Full medical benefits * Travel support available
