The NC Department of Adult Correction is looking to bring on a pivotal partner to the HR Operations Team as an HR Program Analyst.The Human Resource Program Analyst will support and advise the Human Resources Director, Deputy Director and Manager of Employment and Organizational Effectiveness in planning, managing, evaluating, and implementing critical and special assignments, programs and processes. Assignments will involve independent project management with a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity requiring knowledge across all HR functions to appropriately complete and meet critical deadlines as requested by Agency Leadership. Position will coordinate and collaborate within and across HR divisions, sections, with other State Agencies including OSHR in these areas.
- Key HR policy advisor and consultant for all of DAC’s HR policies, procedures and programs including reviewing, drafting and implementing changes to ensure compliance with legislative changes
- Execute process improvements for all HR program areas for efficiency and effectiveness which includes drafting and reviewing SOPs
- Collaborate with manager to respond quickly to a broad range of Agency Leadership’s HR needs, actions and requests
- Subject Matter Expert and Program Analyst for all of DAC’s exempt designations handling all related activities and processes
The recruitment range for this posting is $79,000 – $96,415. This is a full-time, permanent, position (40 hours per week) with .Management supports a part-time teleworking schedule for this position. Any telework will be under the conditions of the state Teleworking Program Policy and the employer may end any teleworking arrangement at any time at the employer’s sole discretion.
