HR & Payroll Manager
Company: Scion Staffing
- Pay rate $31-$38/hr. (DOE)
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures, keeping them aligned with current employment laws and best practices.
- Accurately manage the end-to-end biweekly payroll process, including verifying timesheets, calculating wages, managing deductions, and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
- Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Maintain HR databases, track compliance, and generate reports as needed.
- Oversee benefit programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Ensure timely enrollment, changes, and communication with employees.
- Assist with special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of HR Generalist experience
- 3+ years of Payroll experience
- Previous experience in an HR support and Payroll management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ADP, Paycom, Bill.com experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- A passion for HR and nonprofit work, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset.
