Job description: HR ManagerHR Manager for a mid-sized, multi-organizational manufacturing company.Requirements:Bachelor Degree or Certifications in Human Resource ManagementMinimum 8 Years ExperienceHR Administration, Personnel Policies & Procedures

  • Maintain personnel files
  • Maintain Employee Handbook
  • I-9 compliance
  • Federal and State postings
  • Personnel forms development
  • Prepare and maintain job descriptions
  • Organizational charts
  • Performance Appraisals Programs
  • Pre-employment screening
  • Employee recruiting (placing adds, job fairs, local trade schools, etc.)
  • Employee on-boarding and orientation
  • Management of employment related claims
  • Conduct investigations
  • Manage/Maintain Drug & Alcohol Policy
  • Handling employee complaints/concerns
  • Perform exit interviews

Wage & Salary Administration, Payroll Support

  • Wage/OT compliance
  • FLSA Records Maintenance
  • Paid Time Off (including sick pay compliance) maintenance
  • Compensation development program
  • Entry and maintenance of employees in computer system

Employee Relations

  • Employee Communications Program
  • Employee Recognition Program

Training & Development

  • Performance reviews
  • Interviewing skills
  • Avoiding Sexual Harassment/Bullying in the workplace
  • Solving employee performance problems

Workers Compensation & Employment Security

  • On the job injury reports
  • Work closely with Retro Program to manage claims and back to work program
  • Respond to unemployment claims for terminated employees

Safety

  • Manage safety teams, includes holding regular meetings, keeping minutes & follow up
  • Managing First Aid Supplies
  • Manage Yearly Hearing Tests
