HR Administrator
Company: Hire Up Staffing
Monday – Friday; 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
up to $50k/Annually
This role will be responsible for various human resources functions as well as supporting accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR operations and payroll administration, coupled with basic accounting knowledge to assist with financial transactions and reporting.Key Responsibilities:
1. Human Resources:
- Assist in recruitment efforts, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings.
- Manage employee onboarding and orientation processes.
- Administer payroll and maintain accurate records of employee attendance and leave balances, including PTO management.
- Coordinate training programs and support employee development initiatives.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
2. Accounting:
- Process travel expenses from outside sales; audit all receipts and make sure they match entries.
- Use NETSUITE and ACCESS to process reports and manage expenses.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Manage multiple import/export invoices, customs clearance and BOL’s.
- Process invoices, expense reimbursements, and employee reimbursements
- Manage proper and timely returns of demo device models shipped out to customers.
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring expenditures.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
- Contact customers to remind or retrieve devices if needed.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma; Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience (2-3 years) in HR operations and accounting tasks.
- Knowledge of HR processes, payroll systems, and employment laws.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRIS and accounting software preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
