Job description: This role requires candidates who are currently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and C2C arrangements are not accepted.We are seeking a motivated and service-oriented Help Desk/Desktop Support Specialist to provide high-touch IT support in a professional services environment. This is an entry-level, client-facing role that involves both in-person and remote support responsibilities. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, well-presented, and comfortable interfacing with senior professionals in a fast-paced, high-visibility setting.ResponsibilitiesProvide onsite IT support across two primary office locations (Stamford, Connecticut and New York City, plus 1 remote day)Set up and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, A/V equipment, and peripheralsSupport remote employees and manage overflow tickets through the help desk platformEscalate unresolved technical issues to senior engineering resourcesCollaborate with office leadership and end-users to resolve IT concerns promptlyIdentify and document recurring issues and recommend improvements to enhance support deliveryTechnologies & ToolsWindows OS and Microsoft Office 365 SuiteActive Directory (basic familiarity preferred)Help desk/ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk—training provided)Basic understanding of networking concepts is a plusInitial 30–90 Day ObjectivesShadow and train with senior support engineersBecome proficient in the ticketing platform and internal workflowsDevelop familiarity with the office environment, systems, and key usersBuild relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective support deliveryStart managing both in-person and remote support requestsGrowth OpportunitiesGain exposure to more complex infrastructure and networking supportBuild a reputation as a trusted on-site resource for executive usersAccess mentorship from senior IT professionalsDevelop skills applicable to enterprise support and long-term IT career pathsMust-Have Qualifications0–3 years of post-college experience in IT support or help desk rolesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProfessional demeanor and ability to interact with executivesWillingness to work hands-on with desktop setups and hardware supportMotivated by professional development and learning opportunities
Expected salary: $24 – 28 per hour
