Courses are 15-weeks long, 100% online, and asynchronous. Will be required to complete a four-week long online teaching strategies effectiveness course offered at no cost by the DHCON.Requirements:We are seeking individuals with the following qualifications:
- National Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with DNP or PhD in nursing.
- Previous online graduate teaching experience in nursing.
- Willingness to acquire state license when needed (will be reimbursed)
- Current FNP clinical expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Lifespan PMHNP experience including psychotherapy
- Current nurse licensure in Connecticut or eligibility
