Job description: ICA is currently seeking an online German Language Instructor. The candidates should have at least two years of experience teaching the target language in a proficiency-oriented environment to adult students on an intensive basis.Candidates must be US CitizensJob Details:
- Period of performance: 5/19/25 – 6/22/25
- Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays – 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
- Training hours: 20 instructional hours (no prep)
- Total hours: students can request additional 20-hour blocks of hours, but must be able to commit to completing all hours by program end date of 6/22/25
- Training type: acquisition
- Training goal: no formal goals
- Testing format: no testing planned
- Number of students: 1
- Rate: $22.00-$23.00
- The training program will include homework activities and should focus on developing language skills such as: speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and culture.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of full-time experience teaching adult students
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Native speaker of the German language
- Teaching experience with Zoom online platform preferred.
