Responsibilities
Transports patients and patient related items throughout the medical center in a safe and efficient manner. Responsible to complete patient transports in a timely manner, maintain clean equipment, interact politely and professionally with patients, visitors and medical center staff. Functions independently and as a team member, frequently with direction via phone or pager. Working flexible hours, which include days, evenings, day/evenings, holidays, weekends and/or split shifts with rotating days off. Will stand and walk majority of work schedule; frequently push/pull up to 25 pounds, occasionally push/pull 50-80 pounds. This job requires full use of both hands, repetitive foot motion and trunk rotate/twist/reach.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous hospital, clinical or patient care experience is preferred. Must be able to work independently and in a group setting. Requires exceptional communication, telephone and human relation skills to interact with patients, guests and staff. Strong problem solving skills are necessary. Must be able to adapt to unpredictable and stressful situations. Basic computer skills required. Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Any shift possible: Monday through Friday – may start as early as 5:30 am and/or ending as late as 9pm; Sat & Sun – may start as early as 6:30am and/or ending as late as 9pm.
