About the Role
Environmental Services’ mission is to maintain a clean, safe, reliable, and aesthetically pleasing environment throughout Mayo Clinic. Whether cleaning patient rooms or performing floor maintenance, you will discover a culture of teamwork, diversity, and mutual respect. Responsibilities Include:
- Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, laboratories, offices, restrooms, corridors, floors, and other areas as assigned.
- Replenishing supplies, removing waste, and supporting sustainability efforts by transporting recyclables to identified pick up points.
- Collaborating with others, using organizational and time management skills, and communicating effectively.
- Following standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
- Using industry-leading technology and equipment to ensure safety and infection control.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Must be 18 years old. Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand English. Must be able to follow written and verbal directions. Must be organized, efficient, and able to work independently and/or in a team setting.
Additional Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required. Customer service experience and skills are highly valued. Must be flexible to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow. Shift assignments may be altered to accommodate departmental/customer services.
