In this role, you will be a trusted investigator of time sensitive complaints regarding discrimination, harassment and/or retaliation. You will need knowledge of Title I and Title II of the ADA, Title VI, and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and other related state and federal regulations and court precedents and/or administrative decisions related to discrimination and employment law.Your essential duties will include:
- Developing investigative plans and conducting EEO investigations regarding complaints of discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation
- Analyzing evidence and determining relevancy, materiality, and veracity
- Analyzing and interpreting data, policies, regulations, procedures, and legal precedents
- Researching best practices and staying abreast of EEOC guidelines
- Designing, implementing, and facilitating EEO training for a diverse level of management and employees
- Providing data analysis reports related to EEO
- Producing clear and concise, well-reasoned written investigative reports
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, agencies at all levels of the organization
- Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding the sensitive nature of investigations
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 5 years of related (investigative experience and the ability to write well-reasoned summary reports) experience.Preferences:
- The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of investigative experience and the ability to write well-reasoned summary reports.
- Experience making sound, professional decisions consistent with Federal, State, and local civil rights laws, statutes, ordinances, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- A quick study with technology with expertise using MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm with flexible availability to accommodate business needs. This is a telework eligible position.Special Requirements:
The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment background check.Starting Salary Range:
$70,921.50 – $95,104.75/yr.Note:
