Find out more by visiting .Position SummaryAs the Clinical Manager reporting to the VP of EAP, this position will be working closely with the Clinical/Intake Team, to provide clinical supervision of staff counselors and our expanding network of national affiliates. The position will monitor the delivery of both clinical and administrative processes toensure that the highest level of clinical support and consultation is provided to Workplace Solutions client companies and their users. This position will support the implementation of strategic plans and will monitor and direct clinical activities, to ensure that strategic goals are met within budget.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides training and coaching of clinical staff to ensure accuracy and understanding of clinical documentation, confidentiality and ethical practices.
  • Meets with clinical team on a regular basis to review challenging clinical cases.
  • Conducts regular clinical meetings to facilitate discussion of successes and challenges.
  • Provides adhoc consultations and guidance in cases where imminent harm or threats have been made.
  • Consults with counselors to develop appropriate resources for referral and case management.
  • Provides feedback to ensure that client treatment plans and goals are clear.
  • Monitors counselor caseloads through the analysis of open/closed cases, case management and other tasks as assigned.
  • Monitors and provides direction to counselors on their own cases, as well as cases where they are monitoring care provided by an affiliate.
  • Monitors counselors’ clinical and administrative performance through the review of case presentations, records, and other case documentation.
  • Monitors counselors’ case management to ensure best practices.
  • Quality reviews to ensure clear documentation and that clinical processes are being followed and adjusted as needed.
  • Reviews client satisfaction surveys and follows up with counselor and/or client as required.
  • Oversees clinical standards to provide consistency and quality in client service delivery with special attention given to HIPPA compliance, and ethical related concerns.
  • Using information obtained from case supervision and/or team meetings, facilitates group professional development activities.
  • Facilitates the development of training, protocols, and reference guides.
  • Encourages professional growth through attendance at continuing education opportunities (CEU’s) and progress towards licensing.
  • Promotes adherence of professional and ethical boundaries.
  • Provides consultation to Human Resources, Leaders, and other Key Stakeholders regarding employees’ behavioral health, productivity/work performance concerns, traumatic events, and other situations where guidance may be needed.
  • Carries a clinical caseload that often includes C-Suite employees with complex presenting issues.
  • Manages and conducts onsite critical incident stress debriefings as required.
  • Manages high-risk clinical situations, e.g., individuals who are a threat to oneself or others.
  • Serves as a thought partner to the VP of EAP, and assist with Account Management duties as needed.
  • Keeps current on literature, articles, legislative and regulatory changes relevant to client issues and the counseling process and adjusts processes and procedures as appropriate.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High level of accountability, reliability, and integrity.• Evaluate statistics and report program trends.• Articulate business language.• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.• Ability to assist with training and program development.• Solid client service/relationship management/project management skills.• Knowledge/training in Workplace Violence and critical incident situations.• Ability to clinically manage high-risk situations, including clients who are a threat to oneself or others
  • Ability to manage and conduct critical incident stress management debriefings in the workplace.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite

Education & Experience

  • Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, clinical social work or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years direct clinical experience required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience required.
  • Licensed at the highest level for the discipline (e.g. LPC , LMFT LCSW)
  • Previous experience in an EAP setting required.
  • Previous experience working in and managing a clinical database, plus if experienced in EAP Expert.
  • Substance abuse assessment and treatment experience required.
  • EAP Account Management experience a plus.
  • Call center management a plus
  • Provide regular after-hours support/on-call coverage.
