Responsibilities
- Ensures efficient and effective maintenance, release updates, and enhancement of administrative systems and processes in a complex, integrated environment while also leading continued implementation of future product releases, new functionality and redesigned processes and systems. Manages product roadmaps to meet current and future business needs of Mayo and anticipated strategic priorities and growth.
- Coordinates cohesive strategy across product modules, domains, and roles, as well as between products (e.g., Oracle ERP/HCM, Oracle FDI, UKG, GetThere, etc.). Establishes and manages internal controls, performance metrics, and service levels of administrative systems and business processes with product vendors, Mayo stakeholders, customers, and staff.
- Manages team capacity and demand to meet business needs and priority timelines. Provides environment for regular growth and skill improvement of team members. Involves team with core domains, customers, and internal/external stakeholders for effective change management.
- Ensures that work in assigned product/solution is completed on time and on budget.
- Understands the business and technology context for the associated processes and is empowered to make decisions related to/impacting said processes.
- Prioritizes decisions that balance the goals and objectives of the institution’s various stakeholders, such as improved experience, against broader business objectives.
- Drives and manages activities associated with new initiatives/ projects or enhancements, including sign-off on new initiative or enhancement project and/or work plan, timeline, scope and resources, bringing any significant changes or deviations from established scope, timeline, or resources to the Office of Administrative System Transformation (OAST) Program Leader.

Qualifications
The Director will possess a Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years related experience preferably in complex project and program management, with demonstrated expertise in large-scale organizational change, process reengineering, digital/technology enablement or similar transformational initiatives. They will also have 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience.
Additional qualifications to be successful as the Director are taking a program-level view with the ability to make decisions on behalf of Mayo. In addition, this individual should be innovative, aligned with future vision and able to break from current ways of working along with a proven track record running large projects, driving to outcomes, motivating teams and managing dependencies/risks. Demonstrated experience and leadership with the ability to serve as a collaborative and unifying force, resolve conflict and to position communications discussions at internal and external strategic and tactical levels will be necessary.
