Job description: Job Title: Desktop Support Technician (US Citizen Only)Location: RemoteWe are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualificationsResponsibilities:
- Provide first-level support to users for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including setting up new user accounts and equipment.
- Manage and track IT assets and inventory.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Provide support for remote users and troubleshoot issues with VPNs and remote desktop software.
- Document issues and solutions in the ticketing system and create knowledge base articles.
- Ensure timely resolution of support requests to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in a desktop support or IT helpdesk role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems.
- Experience in office productivity software, such as Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with Active Directory, user account management, and group policies.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance
