Job description: Overview:GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a fully onsite role at Manitowoc Cranes in Shady Grove, Pennsylvania. This position offers hands-on support in a dynamic enterprise environment and requires daily on-site presence. Position Overview:Position OverviewAs a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for delivering in-person technical support for end users at Manitowoc Cranes in Shady Grove, PA. Your responsibilities will include maintaining desktop environments, resolving hardware and software issues, managing updates, and ensuring high levels of customer service. You will work closely with internal IT teams and end users to maintain technology uptime and performance across a variety of systems and devices. Responsibilities:Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, wireless devices, firewalls/routers, printers, monitors, projectors, and peripheral devices.Install, upgrade, and support Microsoft Windows operating systems (XP – 10).Install, upgrade, and support Microsoft Office suites (2003 – 2019).Perform software and hardware installation and maintenance.Troubleshoot and install printers and related equipment.Image, update, and patch laptops and desktops.Provide support for remote connectivity and mobile devices.Resolve issues related to Active Directory desktop integration.Monitor ticket progress and maintain communication with end users.Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and efficient IT support environment. Minimum Qualifications:2+ years of overall IT support experience.1 or more years of recent desktop support experience, including installing, upgrading, and managing Microsoft desktop environments and network equipment.Experience with Active Directory integration.Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-connected devices.Excellent customer service and communication skills.
