Job description: Position Title: Desktop Support Technician(US Citizens Only)
Location: RemoteWe are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve technical issues reported by users via helpdesk tickets, phone, or in-person.
  • Provide support for hardware, software, and peripheral devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
  • Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, operating systems, and applications.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up workstations and user accounts.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to resolve network-related issues and provide connectivity support.
  • Support VPN access and troubleshoot remote connectivity problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Document processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Educate users on best practices, IT policies, and procedures.
  • Provide guidance on software usage and basic troubleshooting techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role.
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
