We are seeking someone able to work PST to support our client,.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide hardware and software support for our client. This position is full-time, remote, and a month by month contract.Candidates must be able to work PST hours to support the client.What You’ll DoRespond professionally and courteously to all service requests and areas of the business entitiesUtilize remoting tools (Dameware, SCCM, etc.) and remote desktop to provide level 2 technical support to over 110 veterinarian clinics and hospitalsMonitor work queues, open, update, and close ServiceNow incidentsThoroughly and accurately document the details of user requests or issues, including diagnostic steps performed and the resolution providedAct as a single point of contact for users of the Information & Technology Department, directing questions and reporting problems regarding servicesInstall desktop hardware/peripherals and printersInstall individual software packages as needed for all usersUse imaging software to expedite large equipment rolloutsSupport other satellite offices, such as various clinical sitesKeep system information up to date in the ticketing system for asset trackingRotate on-call schedule with the rest of the teamInstall and support various Veterinary Practice Management SoftwareAssist C-level executives, Directors, Doctors, nurses, etc.Maintain a great attitude and willingness to learnCommunicate effectively in both English and SpanishWhat You’ll NeedRequired:Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or high school diploma/GED and equivalent experience3 years of professional work experienceExperience supporting TelecomProficiency in MDM, O365 troubleshooting, and user managementKnowledge of data communication and network concepts, principles, and fundamentalsRelevant experience or strong aptitude for building or supporting data networksProficiency with LAN, WAN/MAN, data center networks, or wireless networksPhysical Demands:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorReasonable Accommodation StatementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 – 8111.Equal Employment Opportunity Policy StatementCAI is committed to equal employment opportunity.
