- Provide end-user support and IT services by installing, monitoring, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading desktop hardware, software, and peripheral equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.
- Provide customer-focused desktop support for faculty and staff using strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Coordinate customer needs with existing central IT service offerings.
- Support mainstream software applications, including Office. Maintain inventory, manage life cycle processes, develop hardware specifications, and administrative tasks as needed. Record and track support requests using ServiceNow.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least two years’ experience providing desktop support in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with enterprise tools like Active Directory, Ivanti, Bomgar, LanRev, MDT, and remote desktop.
- Ability to work in a team environment and on your own.
- Ability to coordinate or manage projects.
- Ability to prioritize workload based on criticality of request.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and keep your composure and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to talk technical when needed, but able to relay technical information to non-technical customers.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.Preferred Qualifications
- More than two years’ experience, A+ , Microsoft or Apple certifications.
- Shown ability to manage over 200 systems.
- Ability to use powershell or other scripting language.
Driving Required
- Driving University-owned vehicles to job sites may occasionally be required for staff who already possess or are able to obtain a valid class C driver license and can maintain an acceptable driver rating as established in Policy UTS157.
