Job description: Desktop Support / PC TechnicianWashington, DC (Onsite)ContractJob descriptionDeskside Refresh Technician Broad knowledge of IT Technician and Asset Inventory functions with customer service skillsReceive equipment on the dock while completing all inbound quality checksInstall and configure applications on workstationsInstallation of the computer which may include changing existing equipment docking stations power supplies video cablesHarvest the replaced equipment and return it to stock updating Asset Management for tracking purposesDaily ITSM ticketing and asset management application navigation and use preferredAccountable for communicating and basic training of new computers and their functions to client employeesCreates a data backup archive for the environment components of the computers scheduled to be deinstalled and remove all computer software data files custom applications licensed softwareOversee computer device refreshes and replacements tracking damaged equipment to be replacedCollaborate with IT leadership for largescale technology migration projectsInstall and upgrade workstations for client employees providing remote or onsite education on basic usage security procedures and selftroubleshootingTrack deployment replacement and upgrade information across multiple departments and facilitiesreimage and stock returned devicesThe job performed onsite for laptop printer refresh and IT support Have basic knowledge of IT equipment including printers PCs iOS devices and common Microsoft software programs Office Outlook Word Excel and be able to work with a trouble ticketing system SNOW Microsoft Support Center Service Manager RemedySkillsEuc Deployment And Management
