We are currently looking for a Desktop Support Engineer III in the United States.We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer III to provide advanced technical support across a diverse and dynamic technology environment. In this role, you will configure, troubleshoot, and maintain workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and A/V equipment while ensuring compliance with security standards. You will serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges efficiently. This role also involves mentoring junior team members, documenting technical processes, and participating in deployment and upgrade projects. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and reliability of IT services, supporting employees across the organization. Strong problem-solving, technical expertise, and proactive communication are essential in this role.Accountabilities:

  • Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and A/V equipment.
  • Serve as an escalation point for level 2 and 3 support issues and guide other technicians as needed.
  • Configure, update, patch, and maintain Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and other business software.
  • Ensure all devices comply with organizational security standards, collaborating with networking and security teams on audits and remediation.
  • Build, test, and deploy install packages, and support infrastructure and business system projects.
  • Monitor and respond to tickets in ServiceNow or similar help desk platforms, tracking issues and resolutions thoroughly.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, creating documentation, knowledge base articles, and technical manuals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Expert knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, laptops, mobile devices, and troubleshooting best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with phone systems, printers, print servers, and A/V equipment.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Azure, DHCP, Group Policy, Intune, SCCM, and remote support tools (TeamViewer or similar).
  • Familiarity with patch management tools, inventory audits, and technical documentation practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication.
  • Certifications such as MCSA/E, ACSP, CompTIA Network+, or CCNA are desirable.
