Job description: Job Summary Desktop Support Engineer (Indianapolis, IN)– Provide 100% on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
– Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.
– Install, configure, and maintain Windows and MacOS operating systems.
– Assist with network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
– Manage user accounts, email, and permissions via Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
– Support enterprise applications, including Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, etc.
– Assist with IT asset management, including inventory and procurement tasks.
– Coordinate with vendors/service providers for hardware repairs and replacements.
– Update and patch software to ensure cybersecurity best practices.
– Provide technical guidance and training to end-users.
– Use ITSM/ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) for issue tracking and resolution.
– Work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
– Preferred: Experience with remote desktop tools, scripting, and prior enterprise/corporate IT support.
