Job description: If you are motivated and believe in the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People,” join our team!Position Overview:The Desktop Support Analyst’s role is to support and maintain the credit union’s computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. That includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all organizational hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via work order) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required.Responsibilities:
- Provide responsive support for end users with deskside & walk up support issues for PCs, network printers, video conference equipment, & other local IT hardware & software packages
- Use remote management tools to assist end users who are working offsite
- Prepare and configure client systems for install and delivery
- Responsible for handling difficult incidents and tasks
- Help with projects for Desktop Operations
- Mentor and support Trainee and Desktop Support Analysts I
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Additional four years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a degree
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Hands on hardware troubleshooting experience, including desktop & laptop PCs, printer, and AV systems
- Very experienced supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Very experienced supporting applications such as Microsoft Office & Teams
- Travel between multiple sites around the Raleigh area required and peridolically to other branches across the state
Desired Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills:
- Under limited supervision, provides a high degree of customer satisfaction functioning as a customer liaison for IT related issues
- Very experience with ticketing systems
- Very experience supporting Apple Macs and iPads a plus
- CompTIA A+ and Network+ ceritfications
- Able to write software installation instuctions and knowledge base documentation
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
