Job description: Job Description:We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in San Antonio, Texas. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be in a key position to provide technical support to both local and remote users, manage, analyze, and resolve issues with computer systems, hardware, and software, and ensure the integrity of electronic data records.Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately process and support computer desktop issues for both local and remote locations
- Manage, analyze, and troubleshoot issues with computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
- Coordinate hardware repairs with relevant vendors
- Resolving technical problems and providing support for a variety of computer hardware and software issues
- Uphold the integrity of all electronic data records in line with established quality standards
- Track equipment inventory and provide inputs on potential purchases
- Take ownership and execute technology implementation projects
- Resolve computer problems and advise or implement appropriate solutions
- Regular and effective communication with ticket submitters
- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues, and remedial actions taken or installation activities.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Cisco Technologies
- Familiarity with Citrix Technologies
- Knowledge of Computer Hardware
- Experience with Databases
- Ability to work with Dell Technologies
- Proficiency in Active Directory
- Experience with Apple Devices
- Knowledge of Backup Technologies
- Familiarity with Configuration Management
- Proficiency in MS Windows and Windows OS
- Experience with Ticketing Systems
- Proficiency in MS Office 365
- Knowledge of Google Workspace
Expected salary: $25.6 – 29.65 per hour
