Job description: Title: Desktop EngineerRole Details:Location: Newark, Del.Duration: Full time hire roleSalary range: $90k-$110 plus full benefitsStart: ASAPRole is Hybrid. 2/days a week onsite, 3/days are remote.Must be a US citizen.Job Description: Desktop EngineerOur client needs an experienced Desktop Engineer to lead and support their desktopengineering environment, with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional end-userexperience. Strong experience with cloud technologies, enterprise virtualization, and security mitigation is essential.Required experience:This role requires deep expertise and ownership of Microsoft Intune, SCCM,and Windows Autopilot—not just usage, but full responsibility for these platforms.Key skills required:
- Serve as a subject matter expert and key contributor to a Windows 11 CIS Level 1
upgrade project
- Ensure endpoint security, compliance, and performance across a fleet of over 1,800
Windows endpoints and 1,500+ corporate mobile devices
- Design and maintain secure desktop images
- Automate software deployment and removal processes
- Drive improvements in endpoint management and overall desktop engineering
strategy
- Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting as needed
Soft skills:· Our client is looking for a proactive leader who can work independently while collaborating closely with existing teams· Excellent communication and teamwork skills are a must.
Expected salary: $90000 – 110000 per year
