If you have a passion for service and a keen eye for detail, we would love to welcome you to our professional family.Job Responsibilities– Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs for dry cleaning and laundry services.
– Explain the range of services provided, including cleaning, pressing, and any special treatments available.
– Check in items, tag garments with customer identification, and prepare orders for processing.
– Inform customers of pricing, turnaround times, and any relevant policies regarding care and handling of garments.
– Answer customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide guidance on garment care.
– Operate the point of sale (POS) system to handle transactions, process payments, and issue receipts.
– Update customer records with order details and preferences in the company’s database.
– Coordinate with the cleaning and pressing team to ensure orders are completed on time and to the customer’s satisfaction.
– Conduct quality checks on cleaned garments before returning them to customers.
– Manage pick-up and delivery schedules for customers who request these services.
– Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the counter and customer-facing areas.
– Provide information on promotions, discounts, or loyalty programs to encourage repeat business.
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to the handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
– Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and consumables.
– Handle and resolve any issues concerning lost or damaged items according to company policies.
– FollowJob Requirements– High school diploma or equivalent education.
– Proven customer service experience or a strong willingness to learn.
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
– Ability to operate computer systems and software necessary for transactions.
– Basic math skills for handling cash and giving change.
– Knowledge of dry cleaning services and garment care preferred but not required.
– Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends.
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving garments.
– Professional appearance and adherence to a dress code.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain calm under pressure.
– Willingness to adhere to all health and safety guidelines specific to the dry cleaning industry.
– Capability to handle customer complaints and provide effective solutions.
