Job description: Johnson Service Group is looking for Customer Service Representative.
Under the direction of the Director of Inside Sales, the Order Fulfillment Representative is responsible for receiving, reviewing and scheduling sales orders in the computer order processing system, maintaining the open and closed order files. The Order Fulfillment Representative also coordinates between the Customer Sales Representatives and the plant(s), balancing the prioritized needs of the customers and the current capabilities of the plant(s). In addition, the Order Fulfillment Representative responds to a variety of requests, such as status of order, shipping schedules, freight costs, etc. The Representative is also responsible for administering and tracking the release of orders on hold, providing monthly new order feedback to the Director of Inside Sales and other associated tasks. The Representative complies with company policies, procedures and applicable government regulations.What you will do:Sales Order Fulfillment
Schedules, reviews, processes and expedites orders until timely delivery of products
Verifies all attachments, options, drawings and special parts are included
Verifies or determines correct model and part numbers used on sales orders
Confirms shipping and tagging details and other special instructions
Releases loads to traffic
Schedules intracompany loads to meet requirements and minimum stock levels
Responsible for distributing load schedule communications with the customer and CSR, consisting of multiple early alerts and culminating with the 48hr. advanced shipment notice (ASN)
Monitors daily production trends, adjust ship dates as needed
Executes load moves due to customer request based on input from Customer Service Representatives, balancing sales priorities with plant priorities
Review purchased material problems and address with purchasing department
Maintains customer order files
Sales & Operations Planning
Serves as the single point-of-contact with the plant Master Schedulers to schedule daily customer orders
Customer Service Support
Communicates with Customer Service Representatives regarding order fulfillment, customer needs, and supply and price trends
Responds to order fulfillment issues, resolving complaints concerning shipping or product problems
Logs customer communications in CRM tool
Cross-train as a Customer Service Representative, to serve in that function as needed, primarily as a backup
Perform other duties and assignments as assignedWhat you will need:
Recent military background (1-2 years)
High school diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of three (3) years Scheduling or Customer Service experience. Preference is for a Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related fields and some sales experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which results in the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An advanced degree will be considered in place of work experience.Working knowledge of automated data handling systems from a user’s perspective, or the ability to learn rapidly. Must possess excellent customer service skills, strong work ethic, be highly organized, and have good oral and written communication skills. Must establish a good understanding of plant capacities, constraints, equipment, and scope of work products. Good knowledge of division products, or the ability to acquire it rapidly. Works closely with sales, production, purchasing, accounting, and credit departments.Experience in the Roadway Safety Industry is desirable. Preferred experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and order entry systems is highly recommended
